The 12 Alliance Partner Organizations top 13 board members are the oversight Council and is tasked with monitoring and supervising the activities of all 12 entities, such as the 12 Alliance Partner Organizations, to ensure they are acting correctly and legally. The oversight council hold directors of all organizations accountable, prevent abuse or misconduct, and protect public and citizen rights by ensuring proper use of resources, enforcing laws, and increasing transparency. The 5 top National Executive Committee is the highest command of the 12 Alliance Partner Organizations.
Functions and purpose
Ensuring accountability: They will hold directors of all 12 alliance partner organizations answerable for their actions and how public funds are spent.
Preventing misconduct: They work to detect and prevent illegal, unconstitutional, or abusive conduct, including corruption and fraud.
Protecting rights: They safeguard the rights and liberties of clients and can conduct investigations based on public complaints.
Promoting transparency: They help make to make all nations groups & all Khoisan groups operations more transparent, which builds public trust.
Improving performance: They identify shortcomings in performance and make recommendations for improvement.
